Project Description
Da Nang’s coastline is one of Vietnam’s most celebrated and one of its most contested, with international brands competing for the same stretch of white sand. The commission for Hilton Danang presented a specific challenge: how to deliver against a global brand framework while producing something that reads, unmistakably, as Vietnamese. Noor drew on the coastal vernacular of Central Vietnam natural stone, warm timber, woven textile references reinterpreted through a contemporary hospitality lens. Public spaces were designed for the Da Nang light: high-ceilinged, cross-ventilated, with material transitions that acknowledge the boundary between interior and exterior rather than erasing it. The result is a property that is international in standard and Vietnamese in character.
