In the Raa Atoll, far from the well-trodden routes of Maldivian tourism, Furaveri called for a resort where seclusion is not an amenity it is the design brief. Studio Noor designed 30 pool villas on the western side of the island, each creating multiple layers of retreat: indoor/outdoor spa bathrooms, fully openable façades connecting to a private pool deck and infinity pool, and concealed window nooks. All materials were sourced from natural and sustainable origins coconut mosaic wall finishing, custom composite stone bathtubs, natural timber throughout. The brief was not luxury for its own sake, but luxury as a vehicle for something quieter.
