Porto Cervo is the Côte d’Azur’s more serious cousin a marina town on Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda where the yachts are larger and the architecture quieter. When the Novikov group chose this address for a new outpost, the design brief had to match the location’s exacting standards. Noor created an interior that holds the tension between two strong identities: the Novikov brand’s international energy and the particular materiality of the Italian Mediterranean. Local stone and terracotta sit alongside polished brass and custom joinery. The dining room was designed for the long evening tables spaced for conversation, lighting calibrated for the hours after sunset, the room becoming its own world once the sun leaves the water.
